The Ovartech CAD222DF-400A 22kW OBC 200-500Vdc series is engineered for electric vehicle and electric marine battery charging applications. Designed with high efficiency, robustness and operational safety as core strengths, it fully meets the stringent requirements of automotive and marine equipment manufacturers.
This charger features a wide AC input voltage range of 152–456V, supporting seamless global deployment across various regional power grid standards. Its high-efficiency charging design drastically cuts energy consumption, delivering greater cost-effectiveness for large-scale production and operation.
It comes with an intelligent charging mode, which automatically adjusts the output voltage via CC/CV/cut-off stages to suit a wide range of EV and marine battery charging profiles. Complete built-in safety protections are included: short-circuit, over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protection, ensuring stable and secure operation throughout the entire charging cycle.
The integrated CAN-bus interface enables real-time data transmission. It reliably sends charging status, interlock connection details, as well as disconnection and fault alarm messages to the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) through the Battery Management System (BMS).
The Ovartech CAD222DF-400A charger series fully complies with international standards including SAE J1772 and IEC 61851. Boasting an IP67 protection rating, it operates reliably in harsh and demanding working conditions typical of automotive and marine applications.
