The Ovartech CAD332DF400A-14152 is a high-frequency integrated unit that combines a 3.3kW on-board battery charger and a 1.5kW DC-DC converter in a single, compact package. This all-in-one design effectively reduces installation space, overall weight and wiring requirements, helping you lower costs related to inventory, on-site installation and after-sales service.
This on-board charger series is engineered to meet the efficiency, robustness and safety demands of electric vehicle battery charging applications. It supports a wide AC input voltage range of 85–265V, enabling reliable global deployment across different regional power grid standards. Its high-efficiency design significantly cuts energy consumption, making the entire charging process more cost-effective.
The unit features an intelligent charging mode, which automatically regulates the output voltage through CC/CV/cut-off stages to adapt to various EV battery charging profiles. Comprehensive built-in safety protections are included: short-circuit, over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protection, ensuring stable and secure operation throughout the charging cycle.
The integrated CAN-bus interface enables real-time data transmission. It reliably sends charging status, interlock connection details, as well as disconnection and fault alarm messages to the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) via the Battery Management System (BMS).
The Ovartech CAD332DF400A-14152 series fully complies with international standards including SAE J1772 and IEC 61851. With an IP67 protection rating, it performs reliably in harsh and demanding operating environments typical of electric vehicle and marine applications.
