High-Efficiency 1.5KW DC-DC Converter for EV & HEV
The Ovartech DC/DC converter series is designed for on‑board installation in a wide range of electric and hybrid vehicles, with permanent connection to the vehicle battery. These high‑voltage DC/DC converters support an input voltage range of 108Vdc to 800Vdc, efficiently stepping down high voltage to power vehicle auxiliary systems. A standard 12Vdc output is available, with precise output voltage adjustable via CAN communication commands.
Suitable for power requirements from 1kW to 12kW (using parallel operation), the high‑voltage DC/DC series maintains full performance across a wide operating temperature range: -40°C to +45°C for air‑cooled models and up to +65°C for liquid‑cooled versions.
Comprehensive protection features include input UVLO, input OVLO, input reverse polarity protection, current limiting, output short‑circuit protection and over‑temperature protection. The CAN communication interface allows remote control, including enabling and disabling the units via communication messages.
